Scorchioso again in the morning :-> but feck all wind. By midday a few were out on 7m+ semi planing but then the Medano effect suddenly kicked in so I hot-footed it to the OTC. 5.7s appeared to be the size of choice however I was keen to try a Severne and the only one available was a Gator 6.0. So this was plugged into the Tabou 3s 87 and yay result perfect combo! The sail was a cracker - full power all the way but really stable and also light/manoueverable allowing another 3 hours of hot and sunny blasting joy. I tried lots of FSWs this afternoon to try and work out which is my favourite with a view to a purchase some time next year to replace my knackered Fanatic Freewave 96. The Tabou definitely jumped up the list today, probably above the RRD which is a great board but a bit like sailing a sofa. The problem with the Tabou is that it's a bit slow both to plane and in a straight line which are important qualities for a FSW. Hmmm decisions...
